I'm an avid follower of
 and zippitydodah27's When Curiosity Met Insanity series. 'Tis GLORIOUS, wonderfully drawn and brilliantly written.Their charming vision of the Disney world has the actual characters working in the parks. This led me to wonder, being the Disney dork I am, how the guests' expectations are to be met. They come to see "Beauty and the Beast," not just another "Beauty and Her Prince." So I envisioned the poor Prince being attacked by fairies every time he has to make a Beast appearance (parades, photo ops, etc.), and being temporarily changed back into the furry fellow audiences know and adore. (I think I remember reading that the Prince was human in WCMI canon...I hope I'm up to date on my info!) The Prince's outfit is loosely based on the protagonist's in *thweatted's genius gender-bending piece. This is because I imagine Belle was the one who picked out his "casual" outfit. There are lots of little things I'd change about the art in this (Belle's hand AUGH, shading EURGH), but overall, it'll do. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
